I have used Simon light for the past 3 years for my servicing and repairs to my EClass Mercedes. I wish I'd found them years ago and saved myself a fortune on main dealer costs. Fixed price service plans, friendly staff, and sensible prices. What more do you want? I'd recommend them to anyone.

I had heard very good reports about this garage so I recently took my C class there for a B service. I had one or two queries which were completely resolved after their follow up phone call. Very pleased indeed with the service and attention received and hope to be using again.

May I initially state I'm not mad on car dealers and in this instance I think the description does not do what Simon does justice. On my search for an E-Class estate I had the misfortune of interacting with traditional Mercedes retailers and the experience was substandard to say the least. Simon however is a totally different kettle of fish. Upfront, honest and clear with what is being sold. So, after a little discussion we agreed to trade in our old car for a nice shiny E-Class.... Not only did Simon point out some purchasing options that gave us more consumer protection ( I liked that ) he also drove down to us in the New Forest to deliver the car and take our old one away. The last time I sold a car was to a "very well known premium reseller". His guys turned up with a trailer and then tried to knock me on the price. With Simon, none of this rubbish. I felt totally at ease with him and in no way felt any form of hard sell. You can tell he enjoys what he does. He then spent a long time going through the features of the car and setting stuff up for us. Would I recommend him, most certainly. If I were looking for another one, would I go back - of course. Nice to see some good old fashioned customer service. It's a shame we are not closer otherwise he would have my servicing business too. I will update later about my post-sales interactions. Hopefully ( sounds wrong ) we won't need any ! 16/08/2023: Simon drove the car down to us ( we did a trade in ) he noticed an issue with the wiper blades ( slightly warn ). When he got back he posted us a new set of wiper blades. He didn't need to as I had not noticed the issue. We are now a good 9 months on and, as promised the car has be faultless. I can tell the difference between my 20 year old Land Rover defender and a 2 year of E-Class estate.... :-)

If your looking to buy a car from someone you can trust this is the place, Fantastic car dealer, we travelled over 250 miles to buy a car from Simon Light, it was a bank holiday weekend and called before we set off, to be asked to come lin the week because the brakes a slightly worn on the car and they want to put new ones on so the car is perfect before sale. Unfortunately we only had the weekend to be able to get there and it was our dream car so we didn’t want to miss out and asked if we could still go to see it. Well they did not disappoint us, the car was exactly as described. We was absolutely delighted with our experience, from the honesty and the organisation of the whole sale. We felt like a valued customer even though we didn’t know the garage or what to expect. Turn out their technicians are perfectionist”s and the brakes didn’t need replacing immediately. Thankyou to the man who served us I can’t remember your name but I’m sure you will remember us coming from Morecambe. We have never been so happy with a car and with the service you provided us with.
