I've only used this store the once, but I will again when I have the need to. Stores like this and their owners, should be cherished as they're fading away. More often that not, when an appliance fails, it's replaced with new with no consideration to repair. Such a shame when a repair can be a fraction of the cost of replacing for new. I used this store for a cabling requirement and had a first-class service. I love stores like these. Please support them...

Excellent service. 20 year old amplifier serviced / repaired. Done in just a few days and a very reasonable price. Highly recommend!

Had a 14 year old Denon CD player that was being choosy about which discs it would play. Nothing was too much trouble for Mr Laver, who had considerable trouble locating the correct part. Didn't charge the Earth either!!! Would definitely go here again for any Hi-fi repairs. Can't recommend highly enough.

Sorry my experience has not been as good as others. No proactive communication at all - I had to do all the calling for any updates to a repair on my HiFi which was in for over 2 months. And to be honest it left with more faults than it went in with. No comment from Mr Laver at all to an email on this. I ended up fixing the tape deck myself and will now look elsewhere for anything else. Sorry but my experience was not as I'd wished on this occaision

Great little shop with nice friendly service. Had a good selection of what I needed (10m+ ethernet cable) and happy to explain options. Happy little shop dog improves the visit.

Absolutely fantastic service. Friendly, honest and quick turn around when I took my broken TV in the week before Christmas. At £25 inspection fee it's worth taking your TV here before assuming you need to buy a new one.
